This place is a hidden gem. The food is delicious and the tortillas are made fresh as you order. If you're craving some delicious tacos or gorditas (their specialty), I would absolutely come here. Also, the owner is super nice and mentioned that they're at risk of closing down, so please support your local businesses!

Went to the pop-up at Hoi Polloi brewery. Ordered chicken and pastor tacos and they were delicious! Tortillas are handmade from their own masa, chicken and pastor were so flavorful AND they offered nopales salad on the side (rare find). Owner was so sweet! You can taste the love and pride in their food. Can't wait to try their shrimp tacos and menudo!!

DELICIOUS, DELICIOUS, DELICIOUS!!!!! Definitely go try this place. The food was very flavorful and the staff were extremely sweet. I wish them many years of business because I'll be going back. I had the chicken burrito and my partner had the carne asada one, they were both very good.

I've been waiting to come here for a while now! Today randomly my mom called me at work and said that if I've ate lunch already, which I said no. I suggested this place and she said okay. I went in with no expectations, but left with alot of satisfaction! The lady who took our order was extremely nice and welcoming! I ordered a gordita de chicharron and a taco de Barbacoa. I'm from Mexico City so the taste of the gordita was different than what I'm used to, but the flavor was yummy and very fulfilling! My mom also had the tacos de Barbacoa - those were super yummy and the portion was great! The meat was tender and savory. What I loved the most was the handmade tortillas! I will definitely be coming back with y family!

Best menudo around. Clean, and full of flavor, the tripe is the perfect melt-in-your mouth level of gender. Excellent gorditas as well.

HELL YESSSSSSS! THIS PLACE IS IT for me when it comes to best manuedo ive had yet! Daughter and pop joint making bomb ass food. I was in particularly craving manuedo and ive been complaining that the only good manuedo i can find at restaurants are mediocre at best. The best ones has always been someone's grandmother or mom makes it and that's rare because it's a lot of work and time. They serve manuedo here and, my cravings got the best of me. But im so glad it did because i've discovered this awesome place! The manuedo comes in two sizes, small and large. And whatever sides you order comes with homemade, flattened and fried right in front of you 8inch diameter thicc tortilla. The manuedo here do not play around with it's protein. So the manuedo comes with tripe (we know that) BUT you can also chose to have a beef cartilage bone or some pork. So, first when i say it comes with tripe, this isnt slices and slivers of tripe. I mean, cube sized, perfectly texture where there's a chew because its meat, but not chewy like im chewing on leather. It was cooked to perfection. I chose the beef cartilage and it was heavenly. And the tortillas were sooooo good too! I think i made the lady working there worried because manuedo isnt for everyone and i came in and pretty much demanded for manuedo; and i was not disappointed. Oh, and they served the manuedo with dried oregono, onion, lime and dried chilies on the side. How legit is that!?! I felt like i was invited into someone's abeula's house and got fed soul food. I was so happy i could cry. And despite how full i was, i had to finish it. I kept eating it cause it was so good. The tortillas arent your typical corn tortillas either. The masa they use has texture. It has some grittiness to the bite but yet soft. The tortillas are made Thick, buttery and had a sweet nutty aroma from the masa. If they solely sold their masa or a stack of tortillas, id buy them and roll it with up with some Oaxaca cheese. It was so good. My friend ordered a quesadilla with cabeza and it was also delicious. The cheese was soooo gooey when you bite into it. It stretches and you just have to keep biting it until the cheese snaps. The cabeza was so tenderly cooked but once again, not mushy. All wrapped again with their homemade tortilla. And like we didnt have enough food as is, we had tortilla chips with 3 types of salsa complimentary. This place is a hole in the wall. Minimal seating, mostly for individuals or maybe a party of two. not made for group dining. But boy, eating the food here did make me feel like I was with people. Come try it folks. You wont be disappointed

I don't eat out as much these days but was looking for something quick and easy in the neighborhood at the end of a long week. This spot looked promising so I headed over. It was quiet when I walked in so I said hello and told the woman it was my first time in. When I started looking at the menu, I could see what I was getting into, and I was stoked. Gorditas were the first thing in the menu. Then I saw they had picadillo and potatoes, as well as nopales with pork and had to get one of each. Got a couple more for my wife and kid and a couple of horchatas. No more than 10 minutes and I was headed home. Reader: food was on point. I'll be back to try the barbacoa (only on weekends).

The storefront doesn't look like much, but the food is delicious and the service is friendly. My friend took me here, and she assured me anything I order will be good. So, I ordered two tacos, regular nachos, and a beef gorditas. I ordered two tacos, Chicharron and beef, both with cheese and sour cream. OMG, both those soft tacos were buried in cheese and sour cream! Generous, tasty meat fillings and easy to eat. Now, I ordered the beef and cheese Gorditas. That's all you get is beef and cheese. I guess I was expecting something like a Pupusa, where you get shredded veggies and stuff it inside. Now, the regular nachos were put together correctly. There were layers of chips, cheese, onions, sour cream, cilantro, and guac. But as I picked thru it, I saw that not all the cheese was melted. A few zaps in a microwave oven at home fixed this problem. Overall, a good experience for under $20.
